Understanding and Treating Middle Back Pain

Median back pain happens under the neck and the bottom side of the rib cage called the thoracic spine. There are 12 backbone vertebrae — that are positioned in this area. Symptoms of middle back pain include muscle aches, dull pain, sharp or stabbing pain, and muscle tightness or stiffness.
